Known as the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda’s stunning scenery and warm, friendly people offer unique experiences in one of the most remarkable countries in the world. Travelers come from far and wide to catch a glimpse of the magnificent mountain gorillas, yet there is so much more to see and experience.

When to visit Rwanda?

Rwanda can be visited any time of the year even during the rainy seasons as the scenery then is greener and the skies are clearer. There are two dry seasons. The main dry season lasts from June to September and is the best time to trek the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. December to February is short dry season: it is pick season of tourism. There are two rainy seasons. The long rainy season is from mid February to May, but there is no problem to travel these periods either, and the short rains from mid September to mid December: it is time of quiet tourism. Although it can be raining quite heavily in the mountains these periods, it is no problem to travel these periods either. The wet season is the best time to trek chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest as they are during dry season’s wander further away into the forest and consequently are harder to spot.

Kibeho Rwanda Pilgrimage

In the heart of the Africa, Kibeho is a small town situated in south Rwanda. It became known outside of the country because of reported apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ occurring between 1981 to 1989. The apparitions of Kibeho are part of the network that the Virgin Mary is weaving in order to launch a last offensive against the Malignant forces and to lock him, and then to prepare the way of her divine Son Jesus Christ final victory (Cardinal Ivan DIAS, Kibeho, 28.11.2007). They are the only Vatican-approved Marian apparitions in the continent of Africa. In the heart of the Africa, Kibeho is a small town situated in south Rwanda.
