Kigali City one of the cleanest cities in the World
Known as the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda's stunning scenery and warm, friendly people offer unique experiences in one of the most remarkable countries in the world. It is blessed with extraordinary biodiversity, with incredible wildlife living throughout its volcanoes, montane rainforest, and sweeping plains. Travelers come from far and wide to catch a glimpse of the magnificent mountain gorillas, yet there is so much more to see and experience.

Rwanda has an equatorial climate with different microclimates. It's possible to visit Rwanda all year round, but the best time to visit is during the long dry season from June to September. The short dry season from December to February is also a good time to visit.
Volcanoes National Park is home to the mountain gorillas and a rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath. The park is situated in far northwest Rwanda and protects the steep slopes of the magnificent Virunga Mountains.
