Rwanda Community Based Tourism at Home Away from Home is not a humanitarian based but a form of tourism in the process of creating new opportunities for socio-economic empowerment and a value-added experience for local and foreign visitors.
It is just getting more Rwandans profitably involved in tourism as a tool for sustainable development of our community.
This Rwanda CBT enhances the environment while adding value to the experience of both locals and visitors. Our objective is to create a culture of inclusion in the tourism industry, whereby communities participate and share in the wealth of the industry, dispelling a long held perception of tourism as an exploiter of wealth where only the rich can benefit.
It is also a way of meeting our past tourists, Volunteers, Business partners' requests so it is acknowledged that CBT in Rwanda is the merely reliable way to enjoy Rwanda local adventures with the community.

At Home away from Home, you will feel like a true Rwanda resident, by staying in a beautiful land of thousand hills. You will never feel like a "tourist," but a resident. Nobody is allowed to steal that lovely feeling.

How it works!
✧ Host Family!
The intended guests with the host family are the Rwanda travellers include tourists, volunteers, business people over the age of 18, unless accompanied by an adult for the duration of their stay.
Due to the size of the families, each family may host from 1 person or a couple to 2 guests with 2 kids and some others may host 3 to 4 adults.
For a Home Away from Home, a host family will be living with the guests during their stay and be available to spend a little time with the guest to make it a truly authentic and unique travel experience for a guest with a local.
✧ Guest in a host family!
Typically a guest stay for a short visit and may be taken by a recommended local native guide to the local places of interest located near a homestay. For a place whereby transportation is needed the company local guide is always ready to act on that by arranging your transportation means as quick as possible. Visitors will not only be able to learn more about Rwandan ways and cultural diversity but live it.

How do you get involved in the community activities?
For the arrival, you will be met by your host family and company staff at the airport ready to take you at your new home.
At home you will be welcomed by a head of the host family and introduce you to the local government representatives who is responsible to address any unexpected challenge you ought to meet within the local community.
Apart from visiting touristic sites and other places of interests nearby your host family, through our cooperation with the community your local expert guide introduces you to the local cooperatives, associations, individuals who have vibrant projects that Attractive Safaris may support and you may be lucky enough to get involved in those projects then get a try even experience some of new things with the local.
