Fixed departures

Shared tours are guaranteed from 5 -7 people. Less than 5 people or more than 7 people, get a quote.

Book without obligation: we will notify you as soon as the departure is assured and then pay a deposit for confirmation.

Alternatively, you can join a group whose departure is assured or take an option to go with the available group

This shared tours accept children who are 13 years and older. Children of 13 years and above pay adult rates.

Who can go?

There's no limit of age, as long as participants are healthy and willing!

Children under 15 years are not allowed for mountain gorillas trekking in Volcanoes National Park and for primates trekking in Nyungwe.

For children under 13 years we recommend family trips. Children under 13 years are discounted.

Rwanda citizens, EAC citizens, Rwanda residents and EAC residents are discounted.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory and obtaining it for the days you are visiting is your responsibility. Please email us your proof of insurance before arriving for the trip.

Come with your usual medicines

A first aid kit, provided by the agency, is placed under the responsibility of your guide.

Modification terms

If an accommodation is fully booked, we will suggest a comparable alternative.

In the event that we cancel a trip we will work with you to reschedule the trip dates at no extra cost.

It is obvious things happen and plans change. If you would like to change the dates of your trip we don’t charge any fees. We can reschedule you at no extra charge if your travel dates change, but please provide at least 60 days advance notice. We are unable to make any date changes to your booking if your cancel is within 30 days of your arrival.

We will allow you to reschedule your trek multiple times free of cost as long as you do so within 60 days of your trip date.

Clients are responsible for any increases in price between the time they originally booked and the new traveling date.

Refunds will not be given on trips that have been rescheduled and are then canceled a second time.

Cancellation Policies

For cancellation prior to arrival results in the following deductions:

More than 60 days prior to arrival : 10% cancellation fee of the price of the trip

More than 45 days and less than 60 days prior to arrival: 25% of the price of the trip.

More than 30 days and less than 45 days prior to arrival 50% of the price of the trip.

More than 15 days and less than 30 days prior to arrival 75% of the price of the trip.

15 days and less prior to arrival: 100% of the price of the trip. We are unable to provide refunds to your booking if you cancel within 15 days of your arrival. We book all hotels and tours in advance so we are unable to give refunds on short notice (less than 15 days). Our general advice is that if you need to change dates please alert us as quickly as possible.

Our normal refund policy does not apply in the event of a natural disaster, civil unrest, epidemic, airport closures, travel advisory or other unforeseen events beyond our control. In these cases, deposits are non-refundable. It’s best to check your travel insurance and make sure that it covers such trip interruption and cancellations.

If you decide to cancel a trip that we are still running due to one of the above events we will work with you to reschedule the dates at no extra cost as long as you notify us at least 30 days in advance.

Refunds will not be given on trips that have been rescheduled and are then canceled a second time.

Park entrance fees (permits) will be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. Therefore, if canceled, you will be charged 100%.

About extra costs?

Our trip packages are pretty much all inclusive from the time you arrive in Rwanda. But we suggest you plan on having extra funds available in cash or on a credit card for extra expenses including tips.

We suggest tips about US $ 10 / person per day 

Upon your request, additional accommodation before and/or after the tour can be arranged at an extra cost. Please let us know in advance if you need extra nights so we can make the arrangements as required.

Unforeseen costs due to flight cancellation, weather conditions, etc., you are responsible for extra hotel nights and meals resulting from such unforeseen events.

Refusal of service

We reserve the right to refuse service even during the trip. Fighting, heavy drinking, verbal abuse of others in the group or of our guides or staff is unacceptable and is grounds for us to end our services at any time. Please be respectful to our staff and to other travelers in the group.

Acceptance of terms

When you make a deposit you accept our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to our terms of service as needed. If you have any questions about any of our policies please do not hesitate to contact us.
