During the safari you will enjoy:
Day 1: Arrival
You will be met by Attractive Safaris’s representative at the Kigali international airport then transfer you to your hotel in Kigali
Day 2: Kigali –Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, visit Kigali genocide memorial site.
Then follow the road to Volcanoes National Park to be ready for tomorrow's gorilla trekking. Along the way, enjoy the magnificent view of the landscapes of the Land of a Thousand Hills.
After lunch in Musanze Town, visit the volcanic Burera and Ruhondo Twin Lakes.
Day 3: Mountain Gorillas tracking
Early breakfast before proceeding to the park head quarters where visitors assemble at 07.00 for a briefing on how to “behave “while in the company of a gorilla group. You will meet your guide here and proceed to the starting point of the trek to our allocated group of gorillas. The length of the trek varies depending on where the gorillas are as well as what the weather conditions are. Once the group of gorillas have been spotted and approached thanks to the trackers, at a distance of 5 meters maximum, so as not to disturb them, you spend one hour with the gorillas which is a truly amazing experience “and return to your lodge.
Easygoing and peaceful, gorillas seem totally indifferent to your presence and continue their lives, playing, rolling, delousing, sleeping ... and feeding in their plant world. Sometimes they come very close to us, until they touch us ... It's a unique, fascinating moment
After tracking, visit Iby’iwacu cultural village a life museum for folkloric culture.
Optional activities for those who can’t afford gorilla tracking (1500$): Dian Fossey tomb trail (75$) or Golden monkey trekking (100$).
Day 4: Bisoke Volcano hiking
Morning: Climb the Mount Bisoke (3711 m), one of eight volcanoes in the Virunga range. You will discover during the hiking of Mt Bisoke, a huge panoramic view of the chain of 8 volcanoes on the borders of Uganda and Congo, the highest of which is the Karisimbi with 4,507m.
Accompanied by a National Park guide, you will gradually climb through the different levels of vegetation, from bamboo to the equatorial forest, to heather and giant groundsel. Perhaps you will have the chance to meet mountain gorillas ... Three to four hours of walking will be necessary to climb the 1200 meters of vertical drop, before reaching the summit where a lake occupies the summit crater. The view covers the surrounding volcanoes, including Nyiragongo, still active.
Hiking time (ascent and descent): 6h
Optional activities for those who can’t climb Bisoke (75$): Dian Fossey tomb trail ($75) or Golden monkey trekking ($100).
Day 5: Lake Kivu day relax
After breakfast, follow the road to Gisenyi. On the way, have Guided Tea Experience: Tea plantations spanning several hectares, farmers offer tea growing experiences, from seed to delivery of the tea leaves to the factory, including an experience practice of collecting tea leaves with workers and experience of tea processing at the Pfunda factory.
After lunch in Gisenyi town, relish the beauty of Lake Kivu at the beach, swimming, relaxing, lazing and other lake activities.
Day 6: Gisenyi- Kibuye
After breakfast, start your trek towards Kimbiri, where you will “experience coffee”, from sowing to a cup of coffee, visiting the plantations, sorting, drying, and finally roasting. Then touring along the Lake Kivu, enjoy the nature at Crete Congo-Nil with a good view of Lake Kivu and its surroundings, on a clear day, you can see the chain of volcanoes including Karisimbi with the highest peak in Rwanda at an altitude of 4507 m.
Day 7: Exploration of Lake Kivu Islands
Today, enjoy the boat ride on Lake Kivu: visit Napoleon, peace and monkey Isles, these isles visit is worth more for bat watching.
Day 8: Nyungwe Forest visit
After early breakfast, drive to Nyungwe national park for Canopy walk. Along the way, enjoy the panoramic view of the breathtaking landscapes of Lake Kivu.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking.
After breakfast, drive to the park head office in Nyungwe for Chimps trekking for a day worth visit. Within this oldest park in Africa about thirteen different primates are represented including two troops of which are habituated to human contact.
After lunch (picnic), enjoy the canopy walk adventure.
Day 10: Cultural day tour
A.m: After early breakfast drive to Butare and visit ethnographic Museum. It is believed that this house is one of the most Africa’s finest ethnographic collections, artistic, and artifacts accompanied by visual aids, giving visitors a rich insight into the culture of Rwandans.
Pm: After lunch in Butare town, then drive to Nyanza and visit Rukari King’s palace for monarchs and learn more about the diversity of Rwandan culture and lives in the past years. Then follow the road to Kigali.
Day 11: Wildlife game drive in Akagera National Park
Very early morning (5: 00 am) drive to Akagera for a full day excursion in Akagera National Park (Lion, Giraffe and zebra, herds of elephant, Rhinoceros and buffalo, antelopes, impala, oribi and secretive bushbuck, as well as the ungainly tsessebe and the world’s largest antelope, the statuesque Capeeland…)
Lunch: picnic boxes, fruits, juice and water.
Day 12: Boat ride on Lake Ihema
After breakfast take boat for ride in Lake Ihema for discovering aquatic animals including hippopotamus, crocodiles, birds, etc.
After lunch driver back to Kigali
Day 13: City tour and Souvenir Shopping and Departure.
For this last day of the tour, do souvenir shopping then after lunch at restaurant in Kigali and transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight.

Payment terms
Payment is made in Dollars or Euros at the current exchange rate from dollar to euro. A deposit of 50% of the price is paid to confirm the trip. The balance (50%) must be paid at least 30 days before the arrival of the group. When you make a deposit you accept our terms and conditions.
As a rule, payment is made by bank transfer, the cost of the bank transfer at your charge.
Direct Payment Online (DPO) is also possible at an additional cost of 3.5% of the sent amount.
Payment by credit card at our office in Kigali is also possible at an additional cost of 3% of the paid amount. To send you bank details, please let us know in which currency and method of payment you wish to pay.
This tour starts and ends in Kigali. The client can be picked up and dropped off at the airport or hotel in Kigali city. Please inform about the same at the time of booking.
